MURRAY WATSON, JR. SCHOLARSHIP

 Scholarships are awarded to Texas residents based on a candidate's academic performance, financial need, readiness and commitment to study, plus other consideration.
Varies depending on Partner University CHARLES BUTT SCHOLARSHIP FOR ASPIRING TEACHERS To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be committed to teaching in the Texas public school system in either a Title 1 or majority economically disadvantaged school or in a shortage subject area (math, science, special education, or bilingual). Applicants must also exemplify the knowledge, skills, and values listed below. Preference is given to Texas residents.
01/03/2025 GE REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces Display strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent) Be citizens of the United States of America Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2024 or spring 2025.
01/06/2025 TRAVIS CHAPTER TSPE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarships awarded to students studying to become engineers in an engineering program at an ABET-accredited college or university.
01/08/2025 LIVE MAS SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship is for students who are passionate about creating a better future and making a positive impact on their community. A video must be submitting.
01/15/2025 WASHINGTON CROSSING SCHOLARSHIP Each interested student is invited to write a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware.
01/31/2025 HEB SPORTS IN ACTION SCHOLARSHIP You must be a current Texas high school senior graduating in 2025 with a minimum of 3.3 GPA, have participated in a UIL competition as a high school student and have been active in community service programs or events
02/01/2025 BIG TEX SCHOLARSHIP Eligible recipients include graduating high school seniors around the state of Texas who have participated in competitive youth livestock events held at the State Fair.
02/04/2025 COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Universal application that will need to be completed one time. Based on responses to questions, the system will automatically determine eligibility for scholarships available
02/12/2025 FREDERICKSBURG COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD Awarded to a FHS Senior who has demonstrated an unwavering dedication and involvement in Active Service, Demonstrating leadership and achievement in our community.
02/24/2025 CUNNINGHAM SCHOLARSHIP Student or their parent/guardian must be a Firstmark member in good standing
02/24/2025 SAN ANTONIO AREA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS Applicant must check the list of scholarships available to FHS Seniors
03/01/2025 FREDERICKSBURG MASONIC LODGE SCHOLARSHIP Available to FHS students
03/01/2025 AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY SCHOLARS PROGRAM The ACS Scholars Program awards renewable scholarships to undergraduate students from historically underrepresented groups in the chemical sciences, majoring in chemistry-related disciplines, and intending to pursue chemistry-related careers.
03/01/2025 TEXAS EXES FREDERICKSBURG CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must be attending a Gillespie County High School and plan on attending UT Austin in the fall of 2025
03/11/2025 FHS BILLIE BOOSTER SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must be a graduating senior who has participated in FHS athletics as an athlete, athletic student trainer/manager and has complied with the FHS Code of Conduct with no athletic suspensions.
03/14/2025 TTAF SCHOLARSHIP Special consideration will be given to students who will be pursuing a college degree in fields of study which are of particular interest to telecommunications ( such as math, business, education, technology, engineering, and computer science, ect.)
