MURRAY WATSON, JR. SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarships are awarded to Texas residents based on a candidate's academic performance, financial need, readiness and commitment to study, plus other consideration.
Varies depending on Partner University CHARLES BUTT SCHOLARSHIP FOR ASPIRING TEACHERS To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be committed to teaching in the Texas public school system in either a Title 1 or majority economically disadvantaged school or in a shortage subject area (math, science, special education, or bilingual). Applicants must also exemplify the knowledge, skills, and values listed below. Preference is given to Texas residents.

03/17/2025 THE MITTE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, show financial need and plan to enroll full time undergraduate study at an accredited 2 year or 4 year college, university in the state of Texas.
03/20/2025 FREDERICKSBURG SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Applicant must be a senior at Fredericksburg ISD, plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational-technical school in Texas,  and have a minimum gpa of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
03/21/2025 GILLESPIE COUNTY A&M CLUB SCHOLARSHIP This application is for graduating high school seniors in Gillespie County, Texas who are accepted as a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, Galveston, or McAllen in the fall of 2025.

03/31/2025 ZONTA CLUB OF FREDERICKSBURG SCHOLARSHIP • Applicant must be a young lady or woman resident of Gillespie County or of an adjoining county: Blanco, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano, or Mason. • Applicant must be a high-school senior or older who will be attending an accredited post-high-school educational institution (i.e. college, university, trade school, etc.) • Scholarships are based in part on financial need. • Grade point average will be considered. • Consideration is given to whether the overall circumstances and plans of an applicant make achievement of her goals realistic.

04/01/2025 MORNING ROTARY CLUB VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP The applicants should be those who have a strong desire to attend a two-year vocational school or certificate program, such as Diesel or Auto Mechanics, Wind Turbine Technology, Agricultural Technology, Heating & Air Conditioning Technology, two-year or four-year nursing schools, or health-related career pathways including EMT, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.
